Kids Give a Hoot About Saving!

Every April, Credit Unions across the United States come together to celebrate youth by encouraging children around our communities to start up a savings account and learn the positives of managing money. 2017’s Youth Savings Month theme is “Give a Hoot About Saving.”

Here are a few fun ways to get involved:

GLCU Deposit Contest

To celebrate, GLCU is conducting a raffle for members 0-18 years of age to win a family pass to iFly! To enter into the raffle there needs to be a deposit into a new or existing youth account between the first of the month and April 30. 

  • The family package to iFly includes 10 flights shared by up to five people and five free video clips from the flight session! This prize is valued at $299

National Youth Savings Challenge*

Young people (under age 18) have a chance to win $1,000! Visit any GLCU branch and learn the value of money, how to save, and how to spend and borrow wisely with your friends at GLCU!
