Choose Credit with Debit “Chip and Win” Contest

Great Lakes Credit Union (“GLCU”) Official Rules:

February 1, 2018 through March 31, 2018 ($1,000 Amazon Gift Card)

No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win.

Eligibility: The Chip and Win Contest drawing (“Contest”) is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. The drawing is not offered to GLCU employees, officers, Board of Directors and members of their immediate families (spouse, civil union partner, parent, grandparent(, child and sibling and any in-law relationship.). This contest is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter: Use your GLCU chip debit card one hundred (100) times or more as a “credit transaction (each transaction is considered a “Swipe”)” between February 1, 2018 and March 31, 2018 to be entered in a drawing to win a $1,000 Amazon card. A Swipe is not necessary to win and a Swipe does not improve your chances of winning. 0015.

To enter without making a Swipe /purchase, print your name, complete mailing address, telephone number, email address, and the words “Chip and Win Contest” on a plain 3"x 5" card and mail it in a sealed, stamped and #10 envelope to: Great Lakes Credit Union, ATTENTION: “Chip and Win Contest,” P.O. Box 1289, Bannockburn, IL 60015. Each entry received is counted as one Swipe. Each entry must be mailed separately and received by March 31, 2018.

No photocopied, computer-generated facsimile, mechanically reproduced, or mass entries are permitted. Your Swipes or your submission of a 3" x 5" mail-in entry constitutes your consent to participate in the Contest and your consent for GLCU to obtain, use, and transfer your name, address and other information for the purpose of administering this Contest. GLCU is not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, late, misdirected, stolen, postage-due, or mutilated entries or mail; any error, omission, interruption, defects or delays in transmission, third party transaction classification, transaction processing, or communication; technical or mechanical malfunctions; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines, or telephone systems; errors in these Official Rules, in any Contest-related advertisements or other material,; human-processing error; failures of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software; or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by equipment, programming used in this Contest, human error, or otherwise. GLCU reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries if GLCU believes an entrant has attempted to or has tampered with or impaired the administration, security, fairness, or proper administration of this Contest.

Winner Selection: One winner will be chosen in a random drawing on April 6, 2018, from the eligible debit card users and mail in entries received. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries. All decisions are final and binding in all contest matters. The winner will be notified by telephone, email, and/or letter within 30 days after the drawing. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the award notification, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

Miscellaneous: Non-compliance with any of the foregoing may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1) GLCU has the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) their name, voice, city/state of residence, biographical information, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format, online or offline, now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission, or notification; and 2) GLCU and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, attorneys, representatives and agents have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person, including, without limitation, damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this Contest. 3) Winner is responsible for paying any and all federal and state taxes due on winnings.

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Odds of winning depend on number of all debit card users with 100 or more debit card transactions processed as credit transactions during and mail entries received the “Chip and Win” contest period.
