“Financial Planning” Contest
Valid from October 12 through October 15
($25 Visa Gift Card)
No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win.
Eligibility: “#FinancialPlanning” (“Contest”) is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. The drawing is not offered to GLCU employees, officers, Board of Directors and members of their immediate families (spouse, civil union partner, parent, grandparent, child, sibling and any in-law relationship.). This contest is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
How to Enter: To participate, contestants must publish a financial tip to one of the two #FinancialPlanning posts published by Great Lakes Credit Union on its official Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages and be a confirmed follower of the corresponding social media page. Tips must be published before 11:59 PM CDT on Friday, October 12, 2021, to be eligible for consideration. There are three ways to compete: 1) Respond with a financial tip during the Contest period on GLCU’s official Facebook page to one of the #FinancialPlanning posts; 2) Respond with a financial tip during the Contest period on GLCU’s official Instagram page to one of the #FinancialPlanning posts; 3) Respond with a financial tip during the Contest period on GLCU’s official Twitter page to one of the #FinancialPlanning posts. Private accounts or replies that are unable to be viewed by GLCU’s official social media platforms are not eligible for consideration. Answers posted by accounts that cannot be confirmed as an account following the corresponding social media platform are not eligible for consideration.
Winner Selection: Ten (10) winners will be chosen in a random drawing within two (2) weeks after promotion period ends, from all entries received. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries. All decisions are final and binding in all contest matters. The winners will be notified by social media, telephone, email, and/or letter within 30 days after the drawing. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the award notification, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.
Miscellaneous: Non-compliance with any of the foregoing may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1) GLCU has the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) their name, voice, city/state of residence, biographical information, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format, online or offline, now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission, or notification; and 2) GLCU and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, attorneys, representatives and agents have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person, including, without limitation, damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this Contest. 3) Winner is responsible for paying any and all federal and state taxes due on winnings.
