Boat Prize Contest
Great Lakes Credit Union (“GLCU”) Official Rules:
Boat $25,000 Grand Prize
March 16 through May 31, 2022

No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win.
How to Enter: Every member who refers, and every new member will get an automatic entry to win a boat valued at $25,000! Refer up to 5 new members for more chances to win. See Eligibility section below for more details on how to enter the boat drawing, the new member cash bonus and the member referral cash bonus.
Eligibility: Offer valid through May 31, 2022 and is subject to change without notice. Referrer must be a GLCU member. Valid only with new members. New members are defined as a person 18 and older who has never been an owner of an account at GLCU. New accounts are subject to approval and membership eligibility. To qualify for the cash bonus, the referred new member must open a checking account with a minimum monthly direct deposit of $500 and maintain a $500 balance by May 31, 2022. $50 cash bonus will be credited to new members’ GLCU deposit account by August 1, 2022. Existing members can refer up to 5 new members for a total of $250. Cash bonus may be subject to tax reporting, applicable 1099 may be provided for tax purposes. Open to all legal residents (18+) in the following Illinois counties within GLCU’s field of membership: McHenry, Lake, Cook, Kane, DuPage, Kendall and Will. Excludes GLCU employees, officers, Board of Directors and their immediate families (spouses, parents, grandparents, children, and siblings and their respective spouses). This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Winner Selection: Prize is determined by the roll of dice by an eligible winner at the contest event at the Libertyville, IL branch, or at another location selected by GLCU if that location is unavailable. Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the entire promotion period, for a chance to roll the dice and win one of three prizes; $25,000 cash value for a boat, $5,000 cash or $1,000 cash. Once a prize is won, it is no longer an eligible prize. Odds of winning the drawing will depend on the total number of eligible entries during the entire promotion period. Winners will be randomly selected and all decisions of Great Lakes Credit Union are final and binding in all contest matters. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email by June 6, 2022. Winners must acknowledge and respond by June 15, 2022, or will forfeit the prize winnings. We will select 5 winners with 2 rolls each. Winners roll once and we start again in the same order for the 2nd roll minus the winners and prizes that are won. Winners will roll in the order that they are selected. All prizes are subject to taxation.
Miscellaneous: Prizes are non-transferable. No family member or other person may accept a prize on behalf of a winning contestant. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1) GLCU shall have the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) their name, voice, city/state of residence, biographical information, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format, online or offline, now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission, or notification; and 2) GLCU and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person, including, without limitation, damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this Contest.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE, APPLICATION FOR LOAN, OR APPROVAL STATUS WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
